From September 22 to November 4, 2018, Vaux-le-Vicomte offers its visitors to relive the most striking scenes ever shot in the château. Know that the place was the set for about 70 movies (Delusions of Grandeur, Marie-Antoinette, The Man in the Iron Mask and so many others!) and welcomes many stars, French and internation! We must say that you'll discover many things.

For this second edition, the movie James Bond: Monnraker (1979) is given pride of place with an exhibition of posters, archive abstracts and props from the shooting as well as a tribute to Roger Moore who passed away in 2017. And the real helicopter from the movie, a Bell 206 for the connoisseurs, will be exhibited in the Château courtyard. But that's not all: on Saturdays, 4 lucky winners will have the chance to fly over the Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte in an Alouette II helicopter, like Roger Moore did in the movie! To take part in, meet on the château Facebook page, 2 winners will be also picked up by chance on the spot during their visit.

Moreover, this year, interactivity is given pride of place: equipped with a virtual reality helmet, for two minutes, dive into a movie shooting through a 360° experience!

Every Sunday, meet with a FX makeup artist, a set designer, a costume designer, a wig designer who will explain their extraordinary jobs helping the making of a movie or a series. These atypical people will host conferences-meetings to reveal the different aspects of what they do.

And the icing on the cake: "special effects" makeup workshops will be provided for free: creation of fake wounds or wrinkles will have no more secret for you!

As well as "Backstage at Vaux-le-Vicomte" guided tours, an exhibition of the costumes used in the Versailles series and many others...! An event you don't want to miss, then!
