There are professions we don't even know exist, and others that seem unreal, inaccessible, so much so that they make us dream. Fortunately, there's an annual event that allows us to discover these exceptional professions and skills. An opportunity, who knows, to change your life?
We've decided to take advantage of the Journées Européennes des Métiers d'Art (or JEMA for those in the know) to meet local craftspeople and learn more about their work. Several hundred venues open their doors to us on this occasion, including 19M, Chanel's art and design gallery.
From April 2 to 4, 2025, 19M is offering an exclusive tour of the workshops of six resident art houses (two of which are reserved for school groups), with events and activities never before seen by the public. Every day, the houses and their artisans will reveal their secrets and their daily lives. Exceptional events not to be missed! Visits are free of charge, and registration is required.
So, which house would you like to discover first?
