With over 2,500 species and varieties of trees living side by side, forming the richest tree collection in Europe, the Arboretum de Versailles-Chèvreloup is a unique site, managed by the Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle and awarded the "Jardin remarquable" label. From April, when the cherry and magnolia trees are in full bloom, to spring, when the magnificent rhododendrons and red chestnut trees are in full bloom, and autumn, when the shimmering colors of the trees range from yellow to red, the Arboretum is a great place to stroll, relax and recharge your batteries, whether alone, with friends or family.

Over its 200 hectares of natural and landscaped areas, it presents a collection of trees from temperate or cold regions, resistant to the climate of the Île-de-France region. TheArboretum de Versailles-Chèvreloup regularly takes part in the national"Rendez-vous aux Jardins" event. The French can come and stroll through the most beautiful gardens around them, and discover natural sites that are sometimes closed to the public.
