Candlelit evenings at Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte 2024: a magical visit with fireworks!

Vaux-le-Vicomte has all the makings of a fairytale castle. Every season, this historic site thrills us with a simply magical program. In winter, its Christmas scenography and sound and light show enchant young and old alike. With the arrival of warmer weather, this Ile-de-France château, which inspired Versailles , invites us to enjoy a dreamlike experience with our loved ones.

Welcome to candlelit evenings at Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte. Every Saturday evening from June 1 to September 28, 2024, enjoy a timeless moment that makes you feel like you're living a daydream. These nocturnal tours invite you to discover this splendid monument under a subdued light. Extend your stroll through the 33 hectares of gardens, lit by the glow of 2,000 candles.

A romantic evening par excellence! Lulled by baroque music, you stroll through this enchanting setting. For the occasion, water games are launched in the fountains as soon as night falls. You can round off this wonderful experience with a romantic dinner at Les Charmilles, a champagne and macaroon aperitif at Le Songe de Vaux or even a picnic in the herbs in a dedicated area. Last but not least, the dome of Vaux-le-Vicomte, perched 25 meters high with a 360° view, can be privatized for a romantic dinner. Book quickly, places are going fast!

This year, a new feature has been added to this dream program. The Champagne Bar is diversifying its offer, to provide a festive and gourmet "after work" experience. In addition to the bubbly beverage, you can enjoy a range of brazier-style catering options, in a relaxed, musical atmosphere.

Finally, to close this dreamlike moment, a fabulous fireworks display of gold and silver splits the night. During the show, the voice of Jean de La Fontaine, sung by André Dussollier, takes you back 360 years, to relive the festival of August 17, 1661, which has left a lasting impression on people to this day!
