La Panamée, a free cultural walk in the footsteps of the Coulée Verte

Wear comfortable shoes, bring something to face the weather if necessary, and off you go! Departure fromavenue Henri Barbusse in Bagneux at 7pm for a three-hour urban walk on August 15, 2024! Accessible to all levels, including the less sporty, the Panamées allow you to set off on a stroll, discovering a theme, without even leaving the confines of the capital, or just a little.

This month, the Comité départemental de la randonnée pédestre invites you to follow in the footsteps of the Coulée Verte, beyond the Paris ring road, on an exciting 7.5km route. A coulée verte - or sometimes a planted promenade - is a green space laid out and protected as part of an urban development plan. Arrival at Porte de Vanves around 10pm .

The Panamées are cultural hikes that have been taking place on the third Thursday of every month since 2004. The three-hour hikes are open to all, as long as you wear comfortable shoes. Each walk is entirely free of charge, and the Comité de la randonnée pédestre de Paris (Paris Hiking Committee) is responsible for introducing visitors to the capital through a different theme or famous person each month.
