The Rambouillet Lily of the Valley Festival 2025: float parade, funfair and fireworks display

This weekend, we're off to enjoy the Fête du Muguet in Rambouillet, an annual tradition that draws crowds from far and wide. This year, on May 17 and 18, 2025, the town will be lit up with joy and festivities. The fashion show and waiters' race promise unforgettable moments, while the spectacular fireworks display will crown the festivities.

Since 1906, when the Lily of the Valley Festival first appeared, the town of Rambouillet hasn't missed this festive event in its calendar for anything in the world! Back then, the festival wasn't as big as it is today, and it would be another five years before the first Queen of the Lily of the Valley was crowned by the Queen of Les Halles in Paris. At that time, special trains were even put into service to enable Parisians to take part in this great popular festival!

• From 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., head to Rue de Gaulle for the Tradesmen's Festival, with a fashion show at 3:30 p.m. and a waiters' race at 5:00 p.m.
  
• At 10:00 pm, in the Parc du Château, don't miss the crowning of Jessica, Queen of the Lily of the Valley 2023, and the pyrosymphonic show on the theme "the Lily of the Valley Festival celebrates Italy". Don't miss the fireworks display at 10.20pm at Rondeau.
  

Sunday May 14 promises to be just as exciting with :

• At 10:30 a.m., the traditional Saint-Hubert welcome for the Queen and her dauphines at Place Félix Faure.
  
• At 2.30pm, the start of the corso fleuri, a parade of lily-of-the-valley floats, entertainment and music.
  
• At 5pm, a concert by the Société Musicale de Rambouillet and voting for the float prizes.
  
• And at 5.30pm, the results of the voting are announced.
  

What's more, a funfair awaits all ages from May 17 to 18, 2025, in Rue Lenôtre and Rue Leclerc, with opening hours from 2pm to midnight, and even 2am on Saturdays.
