During this annual event, the most beautiful gardens in France open their doors to the public, offering a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the marvellous world of each of them.

A masterly interpretation of the art of the flowering kitchen garden, the kitchen garden at Saint-Jean de Beauregard is a favorite destination for garden lovers the world over. A natural extension of the dovecote and typical of 17th-century kitchen gardens, it has been entirely restored according to the original plans preserved in the archives.
With its 4,500 boulins, the dovecote at Saint-Jean de Beauregard is one of the largest in the Ile-de-France region. Its 12-metre-high double swinging ladder and spectacular framework make it an essential part of any visit to the estate.
Almost the entire park has been preserved in the French style. Planted with oaks, ashes, chestnuts and hornbeams, the region's natural species, it is criss-crossed by star-shaped avenues forming beautiful vistas, and, at their intersections, clearings with green cabinets, if the 18th-century plans are to be believed. Part of the park was transformed into an English-style park in the early 19th century, allowing the creation of a water feature and the introduction of tree species that were new at the time, notably cedars and horse chestnuts.
Thanks to its double exposure, this truly "transparent" château opens onto the French garden to the east, offering an exceptional panorama that has earned it the name Beauregard. To the west, it opens onto the courtyard of honor and the recently restored moat, offering a remarkable perspective lined with century-old lime trees. Inhabited year-round, it is fully furnished and contains numerous portraits and family mementos. From the summer salon to the library, from the green salon to the dining room, the interior decor reflects a refined and delicate art of living.
Discover one of the few Château kitchen gardens to have survived to the present day. Listed as a historic monument and awarded the "Jardin Remarquable" label, it is one of the world's favorite destinations for garden lovers. As you stroll through the garden, between squares of vegetables and subtle flower borders, discover how the Viscountess de Curel and Jean-Paul Breton, her gardener, restored this two-hectare vegetable garden.
