Every year in early June, the town of Clamart organizes the Fête des Petits Pois, the town's traditional festival celebrating cultures from all over the world.

For several decades now, the Fête des Petits Pois has been bringing together Clamartois young and old for a festive, family-friendly weekend or day out. Formerly a medieval festival, then a street arts festival, since its last edition in 2023, the Fête des Petits Pois has been celebrating world cultures, with a country in the spotlight each year. AfterIndia in 2023 and Mexico in 2024, it's Japan' s turn to be celebrated on June 14, 2025, for the Fête des Petits Pois de Clamart!

So take a one-way ticket to Kyoto, Tokyo, Okinawa... And discover this culture, so different from our Western culture, through shows, workshops for children, free entertainment and more. To achieve this, the town of Clamart is working hand in hand with the Japanese community in the Paris region, associations and French artists who are interested in Japanese traditions and lifestyles.

As every year, head for the Place de la Mairie and the Parc de la Maison Blanche to discover the Village des Petits Pois and its immersive decor, featuring workshops, shows and entertainment all day long. In the early evening, it's time for the Petits Pois parade, with traditional costumes and music! Finally, the festivities come to a close at the big dance party with DJ set, starting at 10pm. All day long, you can even enjoy Japanese cuisine on the go at the food stands and foodtrucks located in the Petits Peois Village.

The entire program is free, open and accessible to all (except for the catering, of course).
