Les Naturiales: Fête de la Nature in Fontainebleau, activities

Come to Fontainebleau for the Naturiales, a free event dedicated to nature and the environment, Place de la République, on May 27 and 28, 2023. Discover the ecological heritage and sustainable development through a flower market and a local market and great animations for young and old.

The Naturiales is a real Nature Festival that takes place in Fontainebleau. This initiative, intended to raise public awareness of ecological heritage and sustainable development issues, returns this year for an edition rich in discoveries and activities.

On the program of this event, you will find a flower market and a local market. More than twenty carefully selected exhibitors will present a variety of plants ranging from roses to fruit trees, including potted plants and perennials. Whether you are looking to embellish your shelves, your balcony or the neighbor's wall, you are bound to find something you like.

On the program:

Plant Market: Discover a diversity of species and let nature take over your home.
Plant swap: Exchange your plants and seeds, get gardening advice and participate in potting workshops.
Local market: Selection of local producers offering fresh, healthy and gourmet products.
Restaurant area: Relax and enjoy the delicious dishes offered.

As part of this event, several workshops are organized to allow you to discover the current environmental issues and the solutions to be implemented to meet them. With family or friends, it's the ideal occasion to meet and share a convivial moment.

In parallel, a space dedicated to creative workshops is set up. You will be able to participate in a drawing workshop around the tree and the forest, or a calligraphy and tree drawing workshop with Indian ink on rice paper.

For the youngest, free animations are proposed throughout the weekend. They can plunge into the wonderful world of tales and legends thanks to an ecological merry-go-round, discover the surroundings of the Place de la République on a pony, or try their hand atclimbing on a vertical garden equipped with a double zip line.

Finally, several nature walks are organized by the Association des Naturalistes de la Vallée du Loing et du Massif de Fontainebleau. A unique opportunity to discover the local fauna and flora.
