At Melba Glacier in Paris, ice creams and sorbets from France's finest artisan ice-cream makers await you. 48 natural flavors to choose from, some of them vegan!

Fancy some real ice cream from the best ice cream parlors, with a natural flavour and a wide choice? We've unearthed the ice cream counter that's really worth the detour. Since opening its doors in June 2016, Melba Glacier has been serving up a farandole of ice creams and sorbets at its two Parisian addresses: one in Bonne Nouvelle, the other in Etienne Marcel.

But the real plus at Melba Glacier is that the brand has chosen to call on the best traditional ice-cream makers in France to make its ice creams and sorbets! Carefully selected, these artisans are committed to authenticity, using only natural products, with no chemical additives, colorants or preservatives.

And there are no fewer than 48 natural flavors on permanent display in the two boutiques, to be enjoyed in a small jar or in a delicious, crunchy cone ! And vegans haven't been forgotten, since some twenty fragrances are guaranteed animal-free. Something for everyone, without exception!

From May to September, you'll find a new pleasure in the form of real Italian-style ice creams, remarkable for their creaminess and taste. Gone are the days of beachside Italian ice creams made largely from water. Here, we're talking real, high-quality ice cream. We recommend you try the Italian ice cream with kalamansi, a bitter exotic fruit, the house signature.

So, will you be tempted by classic flavors(chocolate, pistachio, lemon) or are you in the mood for adventure to try more original flavors such as rhubarb, orange blossom, banana or lemon-basil? If you're still hesitating, a tasting of as many flavors as you like is (fortunately!) available on site, to help you make your choice.

For our part, we loved the Calisson d'Aix flavor with its intense almond taste, Marron with its little bits of real marrons glacés inside, and the delicate Matcha flavor, with its softness. But in our opinion, the must-try is Sésame Noir, not only for the incongruous pleasure of having a gray ice cream in your hand, but above all for its perfectly incredible taste. There's also a Chocolate sorbet on the menu (a sorbet, not an ice cream!), which is astonishingly fresh.

Sitting on the pretty, sunny terrace of this quiet street in Les Halles, a bustling district of Paris, we also let ourselves be tempted by the milkshakes on the menu. What a program, since you can mix any of the flavors on display - over 1,000 possible combinations! The result: milkshakes that are frothy, ultra-fresh and as light as you like.

So whether you want it in a cone, in a jar, in a cup with toppings, in a milkshake, in a smoothie or on a delicious butter crêpe; whether you want it on the terrace or to take away, one thing is certain: Melba's ice creams and sorbets, all generously served, are just waiting for you!
