This spring-summer 2021, two Meilleurs Ouvriers de France have decided to join their know-hows and ideas to create an exclusive, mouthwatering, and chocolate-filled collection called “Frissons d’été” [Summer chills].
La Maison du Chocolat chef Nicolas Cloiseau has invited Glacerie Paris chef David Wesmaël to team up like in 2019 again to keep us cool this summer.
Ice cream on one side, chocolate on the other side… A collaboration that can only delight foodies! Together, they came up with four delicious ice cream sticks playing with cold and textures to delight your taste buds on sunny days. But note small bowls of ice cream are also available.
On the menu:
Pistachio Blackcurrant
Undoubtedly our favorite, we love the mix of the slightly roasted pistachio ice cream paired with blackcurrant sorbet core. In this invigorative duo, the dark chocolate shell with chopped roasted almonds doubles the crunchy and crispy feeling for even more textures.
Vanilla Mango
Very soft, the natural Madagascan vanilla ice cream is spruced up by the freshness of the mango. Enjoy the smooth blend of milky vanilla and fruity mango.
Raspberry Passion
Colorful, this fruitful duo colors our taste buds with the ideal taste of fresh fruit. You feel like you are biting into fruits, but the strength of the raspberry flesh sorbet has a nice natural dash of sourness perfectly matching the passion fruit sorbet. The dark chocolate shell has the same intensity.
Chocolate/hazelnut caramel
Undoubtedly the most mouthwatering of them all. First the chocolate-hazelnut ice cream infused with the best hazelnuts, mixed with dark chocolate, with an unparallel taste of spread. The middle is filled with homemade caramel ice cream, very cooked, spiced up with Guérande salt pairing some crunchy milk chocolate shell with roasted and chopped hazelnuts.
All these ice creams also come in a jar so you can enjoy them by the spoonful.
The collection is available in stores and on La Maison du Chocolat e-store.
We do not know about you, but we find them highly mouthwatering!
