Michel Cluizel Petite Manufacture set in rue des Rosiers and inaugurated in 2014 has turned into a teashop in partnership with Betjeman & Barton and Philippe Conticini.
The Normand chocolate maker celebrating his 70th birthday opens his new and exceptional tasting area including chocolate of course as well as tea and travel cakes.
In the new Cluizel teashop, we find a selection of the best chocolates of the Maison Cluizel (slabs, spreads, as well as truffles and seasonal mendiants…) that we can enjoy along with a tea by French house Betjeman & Barton, a drink pairing chocolate very well.
The tea house – taken over a few months ago by the Maison Cluizel – offers a selection of 50 teas such as the Christmas tea for the moment.
Betjeman & Barton also sales glassware. Original teapots and teacups collectors will have an extended collection.
If you feel really hungry in the afternoon, fall for the selection of signature travel cakes provided by Gâteaux d’Emotion-founding pastry chef: Philippe Conticini.
In the window display, financiers, cannelés, cakes, shortbreads and his famous boule cakes. Recipes likely to change according to the season. Right now? Christmas boule cakes with chestnut, gingerbread-inspired cakes and carrot cakes.
Cakes that are not too sweet but with a sophisticated and delicate taste.
Foodies who just can’t wait can enjoy Michel Cluizel and Philippe Conticini treats as well as Betjeman & Barton teas on the spot: the teashop features 8 seats especially at the counter, by the window.
For the less impatient foodies, you can take away your goods.
The whole in a décor using the codes of the Petites Manufactures Cluizel: white tiles and especially melted chocolate going down the wall… Tantalizing!
Gourmet friends, you get it now, you have to discover this new Michel Cluizel teashop to fully satisfy your taste buds.
