Why not take advantage of the warmer weather to pick your own fruit, vegetables and flowers at the various pick-your-own sites in Paris and the Île-de-France region?

Pick-your-own is the kind of outing that gets everyone on the same wavelength: it's a chance to leave the capital for a day and breathe in the fresh air, but above all, to discover natural sites and learn all about the techniques and methods used to grow your favorite fruits, vegetables and flowers. With the kids, it's the ideal free outing in spring, summer or evenautumn (especially for squash!), plus a great day out in the countryside with your hands in the soil!

Many farms, fields and other production sites for certain varieties of fruit, vegetables or even flowers offer you the chance to come and pick them for part of the year: freshness guaranteed for these products that you harvest straight from the ground (or the tree), but above all, you have (at last) the opportunity to eat locally at interesting prices, since you pay by the kilo for what you harvest. Most fields reopen for picking in April and close to the public in October or November, but some are open all year round in the Île-de-France region. Come on, put on some good shoes and clothes that won't hurt: we'll take you with us!
