Recently inaugurated in Paris 11th arrondissement, the La Finca hotel unveils its restaurant, La Mésita. Mediterranean-inspired, this restaurant is all about sharing and gives pride of place to hearty tapas and mezzes.

La Finca, latest hotel in Paris set boulevard Richard Lenoir in the 11th arrondissement also houses a restaurant, La Mésita. A table of sharing, inspired by the Mediterranean where tapas and mezzes are galore.

Enjoying an entrance apart from the hotel, the restaurant is already crowded, especially for lunch, thanks to the lunch set menu providing a very interesting quality/price ratio. With its open-plan kitchen, the place is also decorated with a piano.

Created by chef David GutmanLa Mésita's menu (not to be mistaken with Mesita – the Argentinean street-food counter in the 9th arrondissement) has several propositions. Cold tapas and mezzes (hummus, taramasalata, tzatziki…), as well as warm (patatas bravas, falafels, croquetas…). Still sticking to this will of sharing, La Mésita also serves boards of cold cuts and cheeses.

In addition to mezzes and tapas, La Mésita also serves more traditional starters... But here, the hard-boiled egg is served with crab. Original, flavorful, working. We also enjoyed the tuna tartare with perfect seasonning.

Also on the menu, some warm and cold dishes to share (or not). On the menu, eggplant with parmesan, salmon tartare, fish & chips and even pasta with truffle.

Moving on to dessert, you can choose between tiramisu, brioche French toast, chocolate mousse or orange salad. Served with orange blossom, cilantro and fresh mint, the dessert is as hearty as the previous dishes. Here, generosity is definitely the watchword.

The whole is paired with a list of wines including a few Italian and Spanish references, and cocktails shaken by a bartender.

The whole La Mésita menu is also available in click&collect.

Note that over the week, La Mésita serves lunch set menus. Last but not least, on Sundays, the restaurant switches to brunch mode.
