Since February 2025, the Hotel Dame des Arts has been home to Pimpan, a new restaurant nestled in the 6th arrondissement of Paris, a stone's throw from Boulevard Saint-Michel. Open to all, this space offers modern French cuisine, with a focus on taste and seasonality. Plates are designed with simplicity and precision, showcasing fresh produce in a spirit that is both accessible and refined.
The restaurant, soberly decorated in the contemporary spirit of the hotel, is designed to be convivial, combining discreet elegance with a relaxed atmosphere. Ideal for a quiet lunch, dinner with friends or a solo moment after a stroll along the Left Bank, Pimpan is as much for passing visitors as for curious Parisians. This is a new address in the dynamic Latin Quarter, where culture, characterful hotels and light gastronomy come together.
In the kitchen, chef Clément Courtemanche, winner of the Michelin BIB Gourmand 2023 and 2024, presents a short, regularly renewed menu, designed as an invitation to savor the moment.
At Pimpan, our dishes are fair and accessible, combining gastronomic-inspired techniques with a desire to share. You'll discover fresh produce, carefully prepared, in a no-fuss setting. You can enjoy lunch here during the week (€25 or €32), a gentle dinner or brunch at €38 at weekends. If you're looking for a pretty , leafy terrace, note that the place also hides a confidential patio, ideal for fine weather.
Trained in prestigious establishments such as Le Carré des Feuillants and recognized as a Jeune Talent by Gault&Millau, 33-year-old Clément Courtemanche offers us intuitive cuisine, inspired by the seasons and the product. There's no showboating here, just the pleasure of a well-crafted dish that speaks to everyone.
On our discovery, we begin the meal with a duo of appetizers as aesthetic as they are lively: first a crisp radish tartlet with canut cream and leaf pesto, followed by a fresh grilled avocado with clementines, pickles and toasted tuiles.
We continue with thelamb shoulder confit, served with a dried fruit bulgur and a green harissa that subtly spices things up. A la plancha grilled pollack surprises us with its beautifully cooked texture, accompanied by a creamy celery risotto and a fragrant Maltese sauce.
For dessert, it's hard to resist dark chocolate, presented as a smooth cream with cocoa crumble, dairy caramel and peanuts.Pineapple victoria, in carpaccio with a ginger nage and pineapple sorbet, makes for a light finish.
Pimpan is a discreetly charming address in the Latin Quarter, where wood, subdued lighting and plants create a space conducive to relaxation. In the evenings, live concerts punctuate the experience on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
A wonderful bistronomic discovery in a quiet neighborhood. And if you want more, note that Dame des Arts also hides a rooftop bar with a breathtaking view over the rooftops of Paris and its monuments. The perfect way to end a summer's day with a magnificent panorama.
The restauarnt Pimpan, located at 4 rue Danton in the 6th arrondissement, is the perfect place to relax for lunch or dinner, or even brunch on the terrace!
