A new restaurant with an exceptional terrace has opened its doors on the Rive Gauche side of Paris' 7th arrondissement. Kinugawa Rive Gauche offers refined Franco-Japanese cuisine in a restaurant overlooking Paris and the Eiffel Tower, and we take you on a tour of the restaurant.

Kinugawa continues its gastronomic ascent after Vendôme and Matignon, crossing the Seine to set up shop on the Left Bank, atop theHôtel Sax in Paris's 7th arrondissement. SinceApril 2025, this new setting has been offering a culinary experience combining Parisian elegance with the serenity ofJapanese aesthetics.

Set on two levels at the top of the Hôtel Sax, the venue first unveils an elegant restaurant, before leading to the XXL rooftop just above. From this panoramic terrace, the view is spectacular, between Haussmannian rooftops and subdued lighting: the Eiffel Tower reveals itself majestically, bathed in golden reflections at dusk and illuminated by the twinkling lights of night.

The same size as the restaurant, this terrace promises to be a wonderful place to enjoy Paris against a backdrop. However, we'll have to wait for the mild summer weather before this terrace opens up to us. In the meantime, the restaurant and its view are not to be outdone.
