Paris is dancing: a new clubbing & voguing evening at Club La Nuit with MikeQ

The Paris is Dancing evenings are back in Paris! The 12th and next edition of this not-to-be-missed event for voguing and clubbing lovers awaits us on April 26, 2024, and will take place for the first time at the La Nuit club in the capital's 9th arrondissement. Called Paris is Dancing (a reference to the famous documentary Paris is Burning), this festive concept celebrating love in all its forms invites you to experience a lively evening surrounded by talented performers.

But what exactly is voguing? It's an urban dance inspired by the world of fashion shows, which originated in the 70s. As they walk, dancers rhythm their steps with arm and hand movements reminiscent of magazine cover poses. This is an iconic dance of the famous bals.

Paris is Dancing keeps the party going until the wee hours of the morning, with a hand-picked line-up of artists. For this year's edition, Tim Zouariand Ginger Fluid kick off the festivities with their DJ sets, before giving way to the headliner, New York DJ MikeQ, who has already opened for Beyoncé (no less). He's joined by Jaydena for a 30-minute set. The evening also features voguing shows with a stellar cast: Zion Balenciaga, Madame B Owens and Raeesha Ninja.
