Here’s your new favorite place in Paris 9th arrondissement! Le Petit Capucci, set within walking distance from department stores, is a small Italian eatery that serves comforting pasta dishes. Perfect to recharge your batteries at lunchtime!
Super-candied tomatoes and bacon sauce or with meatballs, zucchini and Iberian ham soup, Milanese escalope or truffle cream with almonds and arugula, the choice in terms of pasta sides is hard but we go for the truffle cream… and we’re not disappointed!
Once we’re seated at one of the wooden tables of the ground floor, we’re served a very generous plate sprinkled with parmesan shavings. We seek for the arugula and we could have thought the truffle was more intense, but we enjoy our dish all the same, and for only €9.5, the outcome is very satisfying!
To end on a sweet note, we go for a banoffee and an all-things chocolate dessert, a nice sweet touch to perfectly put an end to this meal.
Yet, please note that Le Petit Capucci is very popular. You can order on the go or you can wait for about 10 minutes before you get a table. Anyway, we will come back, especially now that we know all recipes are renewed regularly!
