T’Cup is the new spot likely to please English teatime lovers and expats missing British culture. Nassila and her mum welcome you with open arms for a sweet, quiet and relaxing moment in the heart of Paris.
A huge room with small family and intimate corners, a wonderful library that mixes books, bargain-hunted items, white rabbits and bowler hats, as well as a very full menu to fill your stomachs at any time of the day!
In the morning, T’Cup, offers a super Cream Tea formula from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.: a tea (Le Palais des Thés), with 2 scones, jams and churned butter (€8). At lunchtime or dinnertime, the €15 set menus are very reasonable (starter + main course or main course + dessert + coffee) and have some nice surprises, such as the Chicken Potpie (chicken pie) or the Cheddar Burger inspired by Byron: what a delight!
The perfect moment to come to T’Cup remains between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m., to taste the English Teatime that is very soft for your bank account. For €21 you can have a tea served with scones, jams, churned butter, finger sandwiches and cakes. All in all, a genuine teatime to fill your belly until the morning after (or almost)!
At T’Cup, all recipes are carried on by Nassila – a young friendly woman keen on British culture – with fresh products of controlled origins. Respecting the traditions of this country dear to her heart, she even offers the Sunday Roast (€20) as well as a proper Brunch – meaning that it’s very hearty – for €28.
A new Wonderland as mad as the hatter – don’t waste your time and try it asap!
