Cocon d’Hiver: Westin Paris-Vendôme pop-up winter bar 2019-2020

Hotel The Westin Paris-Vendôme celebrates winter by opening a pop-up bar, “Cocon d’Hiver”. A warm bubble that looks like a Scandinavian chalet and celebrates afternoon break to discover until late March 2020.

In this Holiday Season, there are many Parisian hotels unveiling their winter terraces. This year, Westin Paris-Vendôme has gone for a winter bar called “Cocon d’Hiver”.

Open since November 12, 2019 and to discover until late March 2020, “Cocon d’Hiver” is a warm and comforting bubble enabling us to enjoy winter in Paris in a warm and cozy place.
Cocon d’Hiver” atmosphere? Well, it’s a Scandinavian cabin, by a fjord, quiet and peaceful, we can meet at for lunch, an afternoon break, a drink or dinner.

At Westin Paris-Vendôme “Cocon d’Hiver”, it’s Bar des Tuileries (the hotel’s bar) menu that is served and including a wide choice of snacks as well as club sandwiches by chef David Réal.

But the highlight of “Cocon d’Hiver” is the afternoon tea prepared by female pastry chef Florence Lesage renewing the offer on the occasion. Different pastries, viennoiseries and cookies – recipes changing with the season and the chef’s mood – make this hotel The Westin Paris-Vendôme afternoon tea.

Cocon d’Hiver” provides two snack options: the Gourmand (€38) including five sweet pieces, ice cream and a hot beverage and the Pétillant (€48) including the same dishes but with an extra glass of champagne Veuve Cliquot instead of the warm beverage.
