Here is a new address to write down your “to-do list in Paris”… Two weeks ago, Les Fils à Maman (a restaurant chain managed by three friends fond of their mothers’ cuisine) opened a new spot in Paris: a bar for “bad boys” simply called Le Bar des Fils à Maman (Mom’s sons’ bar). But girls are not left out, on the contrary, they are welcomed!
A new place to be next to their restaurant, Les Fils à Maman, in Paris 9th arrondissement, in case you are starving and snacking is not enough anymore. Completely renovated, the place offers you to spend a pleasant moment with your friends in a cozy and manly atmosphere: second-hand and contemporary furniture, barber’s seats and Chesterfield sofas… We haven’t found anything trendier and more elegant!
For very enjoyable evenings, the basement also features a foosball table (for crazy games with your mates) and giant screens for all of you who would like to watch games broadcasted on the occasion. Perfect for hot summer days if you want to stay cool (the temperature difference is obvious).
In terms of food and drinks, the house offers many good things: countless cocktails prepared by the mixologist, Alex (you can ask him whatever you want, the ideal being to challenge him). We can also enjoy beers, whisky, tapas, snacks, cheese and cold cuts platters to die for as well as cheese fritters. 100% regressive we said…
As for us, we chose the cocktail of the day (fresh fruit juice and an alcohol of your choice), a Spritz (the genuine Venetian recipe) and a very surprising cocktail, the Dragon Ball, based on gin, lime, brown sugar, cucumber and wasabi… Refreshing and surprising, gustatory-speaking. The “manga” cocktails are all the more surprising and patrons are likely to enjoy them as much as they are perfectly prepared.
We also point out that the basement can be privatized for an event (about 35 guests max), and sporting events are scheduled on the bar’s Facebook page and façade. And from September, our genius mixologist Alex will offer cocktails based on sweets: vodka Tagada, vodka Smurf, vodka banana… As a memo, Happy Hours are held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
