At Roberta, even though flavors are incredibly promoted, the highlight of this restaurant is the Italian gastronomy and its traditions. So, when it is time to go and have an Aperitivo, you have no excuse but to go with your friends, family, lover to enjoy a very friendly and relaxing moment.
Love does not count the cost. And at Roberta, love does not count how many appetizing dishes, cheeses and exceptional charcuteries are in this Italian version of Ali Baba’s cave. It must be said that here, nothing is left to chance, each product is fresh and homemade. Roberta is not only showing the best of Italian gastronomy but the restaurant also offers you to live out some Italian traditions such as the Aperitivo.
But what is Aperitivo? Well, it is a bit like an Happy Hour but more sophisticated. Invented 20 years ago in Milan, the principle is quite simple. You pay for a drink and you can eat all you want but at a certain time. You find this very principle at Roberta, every day from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. You pay about €13 for your drink and you can help yourself at the all-you-can-eat buffet whilst enjoying the welcoming atmosphere.
In terms of cocktails, Italian classics such as the Bellini with champagne and peach purée, or the Spritz. You can also be tempted by less-known creations such as the white sangria with a very floral taste remiding the vine’s freshness, as well as the restaurant must-try and original creation: the Per Lei. Per Lei means “For Her” in Italian but it can also be for him. You will not want to share this cocktail for sure! Based on extra dry Prosecco and flavored with vine and basil, it is served with a delightful homemade ice cream from Pozzetto that you can eat with a tea spoon. But do not eat it too quickly, let it melt in your glass and mix it with the cocktail. It will taste different and even better.
In terms of food, you will be over the moon. Cheeses, charcuteries, figs, focaccia, mozzarella, you will find your happiness. You need to know that Roberta’s Aperitivo is not only aiming at making you discover Milanese lifestyle but to make you discover the products from the delicatessen in this many-sided restaurant which flagship product is the top-notch Roberta’s olive oil.
