For summer 2018, it’s not one but two terraces that entertain the surroundings of Paris Palais de Tokyo. The contemporary art museum expects to satisfy everyone!
First, there was Les Grands Verres, the museum’s restaurant, puts on its summer’s bests and reveals its beautiful terrace of the same name, set in front of Palais de Tokyo, between the Palais and the Museum of Modern Art. Able to accommodate up to 170 people, Les Grands Verres bets on a light and friendly atmosphere.
The ecofriendly and nature menu displays seasonable fruits and vegetables and healthy recipes served with good cocktails: crab salad and vegetable gazpacho; poached flounder, morels and spinach; watercress bucatini, asparagus, parmesan cream, garlic, fried shallots and mint or the poultry burger, brioche bun and zaatar fries.
And then, there’s Les P’tits Verres, Les Grands Verres’s rebel little brother. A committed and more laid-back terrace than its neighbor, Les P’tits Verres also offers something to eat and drink but without fuss: charcuteries, seasonable vegetable salad, artisanal ice creams and homemade desserts! We come with our friends or families to enjoy the sun, lying on a deckchair or seated along the bar, al fresco.
P’tits and Grands Verres offer you all summer long a plethora of art activities: private viewings, fashion week and DJ sets in the weekend at Les Grands Verres; DJ sets on Thursday and Friday evenings at Les P’tits Verres, as well as concerts, and yoga lessons on Sunday.
By the way, note that all summer long, the two terraces welcome a series of live concerts + DJ sets including two dates to come: August 5 and September 9, 2018.
