Sophisticated bubbles enthusiasts are expected at L’Extra Brut, a champagne bar set in Paris 9th arrondissement, to discover the various sparkling wines from all over France and enjoy then with various dishes and tasty sides. Local, authentic champagnes homemade or by talented winemakers that good food lovers will have the chance to sip in a warm and playful place.
A selection highlighting Blancs de blancs such as the Cuvée brut premier cru cuis by Pierre Gimonnet & Fils or the Cuvée terroirs Agrapart & Fils, as well as Blancs de noirs such as the Cuvée Eric Rodez, the Grand Cru Mailly or even the Cuvée grand cru perle noir Soutiran.
The house’s philosophy is conveyed by the master of the place, Benoît, through his in-depth knowledge and his passion thanks to a very relaxed approach. His vision of champagne? “A skilled blend of freshness and history from a unique terroir, the whole carried by a bubble full of elegance”. At L’Extra Brut, you can also attend one of the “wine pairing” workshops since – just for the reminder – champagne is first and foremost a wine.
Moving on to the menu, salmon, Bellota, Burrata and other products tickle foodies’ and good food lovers’ taste buds. In other words, THE spot to discover if you like champagne in all its shape… Shall we go there, friends?
