Craving some extraordinary cocktails? Head to Paris 10th arrondissement to (re)discover Divine aka Nicolas Munoz's cocktail bar!

The summer 2019 brought many bar openings to house your after-work parties with friends. In Paris 10th arrondissement, new cocktail bar Divine settles in rue d’Hauteville. But 2020 has not been nice with restaurants and bars, because of coronavirus, and the reopening of bars have been life-saving for many foodies and cocktail fans.

Managing Divine, Nicolas Munoz to whom we already owe Bisou. Like Bisou, Divine aims at democratizing cocktails with a menu devoted to connoisseurs and neophytes.

In this both retro and modern venue with a lovely disco ball on the ceiling, we discover the cocktails available on the menu. Here are some of them:

  • Ekizochikku: Umeshu, campari, Fino sherry, coco, verjus, aquafaba
  • Fleur: mezcal, sake, vermouth rose, rinquinquin
  • Bang: Tequila Fortaleza, ginger, walnut, honey from Paris rooftop water, CO2
  • PMP: Vodka, passion, vanilla, yellow lemon, lactose, Champagne Fleury

And many more surprises!

A selection of cocktails we have been able to try and one thing is sure: expect some very surprising drinks! As for us, we went for the Ekizochikku, the PMP, the Bang and the Coco 3000 a fizzy cocktail based on coconut and rum - among others. Beyond the originality of the creations far from the classic Piña Colada and other Mojito, this is all about a genius blend of liquors and other drinks - with or without alcohol - and just as surprising, and it makes the whole difference. Perfectly balanced, cocktails are worth the trip to Grands Boulevards to discover them.

Drooling already? Wait until you discover the food menu created by chef Lina Caschetto (former Pasdeloup, Cantina). The menu features nachos, fried chicken sandwich, wings, seasonal flower and vegetable tempuras, grilled cheese with caramelized onions and mint-cilantro dip, samosa and even a banana split to end on a sweet touch.

In other words, a wonderful address to discover if you are looking to go off the beaten track...
