Yes, we love catching up with friends and family by the Seine, this river so much loved by people in Paris.
And places set by the water are countless in the City of Lights. We can obviously think about Rosa Bonheur sur Seine, Bateau Phare or even Les Maquereaux…
Since earlier in September, we can count another place on the long list thanks to the “Réinventer la Seine” project launched by the Paris City Hall. The name? Scilicet. Set in Paris 1st arrondissement, at 134 voie Georges Pompidou, just across the law court, this bar on the Seine expects to improve people’s daily lives with a concept both festive and friendly.
As for décor, Scilicet bets on a “rustic and Berlin-inspired” look with recycled wooden pallets and furniture, the whole mixed with hanging plants.
If inside, it’s very “lengthy” and can welcome up to 200 people, it also offers a cozy atmosphere and the outdoor enjoys a beautiful 175sqm terrace where you can meet with large tables.
But what can you eat or drink exactly? Well, Scilicet provides a whole range of warm beverages to warm up this winter, as well as cold drinks such as beers (Demory Paris), wine, champagne without forgetting mocktails and cocktails (for €9). Discover the irresistible Mojito, Moscow Mule and Caïpirinha, as well as the Green Tonic (Gin, wild elderflower, rosemary and fresh cucumber, La French Tonic) and the Pimm’s moi je rêve (Pimm’s liquor, lemonade, fresh orange, fresh pint, strawberry powder).
To accompany all this, Scilicet recommends French fries, boards with cold cuts, cheeses or mix, as well as tapas inspired by world’s street food (falafel, honey chicken skewer, fritters, vegetable samosas, pizza slice…).
So, ready to meet Scilicet? Meet now to chill by the water in this new Parisian bar!
