Edo is the name of this summer terrace set up on the forecourt of the Palais de Tokyo in Paris from July 15 to October 15, 2020. Conceived by the Assembly group, this new ephemeral bar and restaurant features street food, with a menu created by chef Mory Sacko. To round off the season, the spot now opens at noon on weekends!

Summer goes on, and the terraces continue to delight us. Until October 15, 2020, visit the square in front of the Palais de Tokyo in Paris to discover Edo. EDO, as in ancient Tokyo from 1603 to 1868, and its " floating world " culture. Building on its success at night, EDO is now open for lunch on weekends, for an atmospheric meal in a futuristic setting between the Seine and the Eiffel Tower.

Behind this ephemeral terrace is the famous Assembly group (Silencio, Beau Regard, Wanderlust, FVTVR and Joséphine). As well as delighting your eyes with a magnificent view of the Eiffel Tower, Edo will also tempt your taste buds with street food and a menu with African and Japanese influences concocted by the now famous chef Mory Sacko.

What's on the menu? Grilled meats, fried meats and noodles, as well as " soya " beef brochettes, Teriyaki salmon tempura and cold pèpè soup (a spicy fish soup typical of West Africa) with soba noodles. On the drinks side, there's a fine selection of sakes, as well as natural wines and cocktails.

"I've drawn on the energy of African and Japanese street food through grilling, lacquering, frying and spices.
These elements appeal directly to our instincts, and that's what I want to convey through my cooking. My time at EDO illustrates the melting pot of culture(s) that drives me," confides Mory Sacko of the menu created for Edo.

Edo boasts a futuristic decor designed by the Visual System collective. With the bar on one side, the restaurant-installation on the other, and through light and sound, customers are plunged into the heart of an abstract, geometric and luminous universe that leaves no one indifferent.

Mory Sacko, contestant in the 11th season of Top Chef, has meanwhile opened his first Parisian restaurant. Called MoSuke, this new gourmet spot awaits you on the Left Bank, in the 14th arrondissement.

In short, while there's still time, head for Edo on the square in front of the Palais de Tokyo. Edo will be open until October 15, 2020, every day from 12 noon to 2 a.m., and now at lunchtime on weekends.
