With 5 stars, Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg has it all to delight curious people. And when it comes to indulging them, the hotel knows hot to do it. This summer 2022, Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg unveils the perfect terrace for an aperitif with friends.

Set rue Boissy d'Anglas - which part is pedestrian - you are sure to enjoy quiet and calm. The terrace is very welcoming at this time of the year, with leather sofas, lush plants and a covered part in the event the weather turns bad.

This year, Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg shines a light on change of scenery with cocktails made in partnerhsip with Diplomatico - the Venezuelan rum brand. On the menu, tropical-inspired cocktails by bartender chef Aurélie Bourré taking us on a journey whilst staying in Paris.

We loved the La Havane cocktail (€17), unveiled during the Taste of Paris festival and based on Diplomatico Mantuano, Rye Whisky Bulleit infused with Lapsang, Campari and Galliano L'Autentico liquor. We do not want to say too much about how it is served to keep it a surprise - but it is striking.

We were also very glad to discover the Veracruz cocktail (keffir lime-infused tequila, mezcal, grapefruit juice and lime, spice and chili syrup, tonic; €17), as well as the Punta Cana cocktail (Diplomatico Plana, spicy rum, Angostura, pineapple, passion, ginger, lime, Tonka syrup; €17). No need to spell it out, you get it: cocktails are travel inducing!

Pair these delicious drinks with flavorsome tapas to nibble on and created by Chef Anaïs Foray. After drinks, Latin America comes to the plates with heartwarming flavors and products: the staple guacamole (€12), served in a very generous portion, the fish croquetas (€14) flavored with jalapeño to delight foodies because of how crunchy they are, or the beef tiradito (€12), a sort of carpaccio uplifted with chili coulis, bellpeppers and cilantro.

As for the sweet part, trust pastry chef Shereen Khélif with the rice pudding (€10) with salted butter caramel and caramelized peanuts, surprisingly light, or the homemade churros (€10), very regressive, to dip in dulce de leche.
