"Wine & dinette" is the motto of P'tit Louis, Bertrand Guillou-Valentin's new Parisian venue. Nestled in the capital's 5th arrondissement, this wine bar offers no fewer than 500 references, complemented by a menu designed by Mélanie Serre and featuring tasty plates for sharing.

If one of your hobbies is sipping a glass of wine in a chic yet relaxed setting, then the following is sure to please. We've found a new address where you're sure to have a great time! Nestled in the capital's 5th arrondissement, Le P'tit Louis is the new Parisian venue dreamed up by Bertrand Guillou-Valentin, already behind Louis Vins, just a stone's throw away. This friendly, dynamic entrepreneur has created a wine bar in his own image: both chic and relaxed. It has to be said that his passion for wine has not left him since he met Anthony Olivier, his mentor and manager of the"Marchand de soif" company in Saint Emilion, in 2008.

After numerous tastings and visits to the vineyards, Bertrand set himself a new challenge by opening this wine bar with over 500 references, including top wines (Muscadet cuvée Granite from Domaine de l'Ecu, vintage 2012), exclusive cuvées (domaine du Compte Liger-Belair, domaine Mugneret Gibourg), ready-to-drink sharing bottles or rarities (Bourgogne aligoté, Domaine Roulot 2014) and a few old vintages.

There are also wines by the glass, priced from €6.50 (Côtes du Rhône 2020 - domaine Château Mont Redon) to €12 (Haut Médoc 2014 - Château Malescasse) on the red side, and from €6.50 (Côtes du Rhône 2020 - domaine Château Mont Redon) to €10 (Pinot Gris 2016 - domaine Trimbach) on the white side.

For this new establishment, Bertrand Guillou-Valentin has surrounded himself with a crack team, starting with Thibault Poëlvilain, who can be found in the dining room and behind the bar. For her part, Cléo Schreiber was responsible for the magnificent decor. With its pastel tones, P'tit Louis is a real invitation to travel. We imagine ourselves in the south of France, in a family home in Cap Ferret. Once seated on the terrace or in the elegant - but very convivial - interior dining room, you're in for a pleasant break, both exotic and gourmet.

Bertrand Guillou-Valentin is joined by Mélanie Serre, already in charge of the Louis Vins menu. For P'tit Louis, the chef has imagined a dînette, with delicious plates already served at the big brother. The beet curry with cumin and crispy socca is a particular favorite, as is the unmissable homemade rabbit terrine with thyme, candied fruit and hazelnuts, accompanied by vegetable pickles.

The menu also includes original charcuterie from Maison Carrère, such as a 100% beef sausage, an excellent smoked and dried duck breast, and a lomo with Colonnata bacon. Want more? Opt for oysters from Cap Ferret or Mediterranean sardines in oil... All accompanied by bread from Jean-Luc Poujauran.

"The key word at P'tit Louis is wine. I've made a lot of discoveries thanks to Bertrand, bottles I'd never have drunk anywhere else. I wanted to create plates that you could nibble on to accompany the tasting," confides Mélanie.

So, are you ready to discover vintages you never thought you'd taste?
