Let us run to Meudon, a few minutes’ drive from Paris to discover Perchoir Y, this new and festive terrace enchanting your summer. The guinguette is set across the Hangar Y, this historic monument currently renovated that will become a new cultural venue this Fall used to be the world’s first airship hangar and one of the only ones still standing.
While waiting for the new place in partnership with Wild Buzz Agency by Meudon-based Bertrand Mialet from Culture et Patrimoine group by Didier Gouband and Art Explora foundation by Frédéric Jousset to open, the Perchoir took over the lush space set beyond the lake across.
Picture this: a huge surface mostly laid-out as a merry and lively food camp. At Perchoir Y, you can seat and relax on deckchairs across the Meudon forest and the lake, slump on giant ottomans set here and there, play pig-pong, boules and enjoy the musical entertainments (concerts and DJ sets).
As for food, enjoy the barbecues. From the braised young rooster to the Simmental sirloin and chimichurri sauce and the famous prime rib of beef and braised sweet potatoes, everything is perfectly cooked in Big Green Egg barbecues. The guinguette-restaurant opens from Thursday to Saturday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from noon to 3 p.m.
As for the bar, enjoy Perchoir’s list: from Moscow mule to draft beers, tasty cocktails, beers, rosé wines and sodas by Perchoir expect you. You can enjoy it from Thursday to Friday from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m., on Saturdays from noon to 2 a.m. and on Sundays from noon to 9 p.m. without prior booking.
At Perchoir Y, summer will be paced by many entertainments that are yet to be programed. Barks will also take over the lake so you can enjoy a boat ride.
