Just a step away from the Place de la République, the Shake'n'Smash offers four original spaces to privatize. A cocktail bar that plunges you into the heart of the roaring twenties, where you can meet to enjoy sweet drinks or tapas, dance and learn mixology... In short, the ideal place to organize your most beautiful evenings!

In September 2013, Shake n'Smash opened in the heart of the 3rd arrondissement, at 87 Rue de Turbigo. A cocktail bar straight out of the roaring twenties, with four superb rooms that can be privatized ... Enough to organize your most beautiful evenings!

Rendezvous on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 6pm to 1am and on Fridays and Saturdays at 2am in this stylish temple of mixology, whereyou will have to rely on the talent and experience of Jérôme Susini, owner of the place, and his team. If you are looking for a bar to privatize for a particular event, you have come to the right place(if not, there are other privatizable bars that Sortiràparis has listed for you)! But what atmosphere will you choose?

There is the Petit Salon, with its refined and modern decoration. A space located right on the ground floor, with its own bar and (on request) its own bartender, which can accommodate about 30 people. You can connect the"Panther in the mirror" room, where the atmosphere is very intimate, with its large mirrors and leopard sofa. In October 2017 the Shake n'Smash opened the "Phileas Fogg" space, an atypical place cabinet of curiosities style (with its own bar as well), where we dive into the universe of Jules Vernes. This room can welcome up to 50 people.

For the most mysterious among you, know that the Shake n' Smash has its own speakeasy on the theme of prohibition! You and a couple dozen friends can play your own music or dance to the bar's music.
And if you want to know the location of Parisian speakeasies, we've put together a little guide to hidden bars that might surprise you.

Tell me what you read, I'll tell you what you drink

The menu, imagined by the head bartender Axel Amasse, is full of superb cocktails at 13 € inspired by some masterpieces of literature. For example, which of these three seasonal recipes would you choose?

  • "The Old Man and the Sea", made with amber rum, coconut milk, grapefruit juice, lime and miso syrup
  • "La madeleine de Proust", made with cocoa rum, clementine juice, espelette pepper syrup, lime and egg white
  • "Around the world in 80 days" made with bourbon, amber rum, pepper shrubb, banana juice, lime, gigner beet and passion fruit juice
You can also prefer a classic of the house, like the "Basil Instinct" made with gin, Thai basil, elderflower, cucumber and yellow lemon. And for those who don't like mixes or alcohol, the bar offers a few wines, beers and mocktails.

Tapas and mixology classes

The options to spend a nice evening with your friends at Shake n'Smash are multiple. For example, there are themed mixology workshops for groups of 2 to 15 participants, or animations for events with up to 100 people! These workshops, starting at 60 € per person, allow you to taste new cocktails while enjoying tapas.

Because yes, drinking is good, snacking at the same time is even better! That's why we offer you a menu of tapas and gourmet dishes to share (or not), like the veggie burger, the timeless plate of cold cuts or the duck and honey tacos.

Depending on the door you push, when you enter Shake n'Smash, you dive into a different universe. But each time, it is the same program: good music, original cocktails and more or less private evenings between friends... A place to (re)discover urgently!

Alcohol abuse is dangerous for your health. To consume with moderation.
