Fans of the singer already know it but on Wednesday September 5, 2018, Freddie Mercury would have been 72 years old. For the 5th year in a row, Hard Rock Cafe celebrathes Queen leader's borthday with an event, "Freddie for a Day". Created in tribute to the singer who died of HIV, this commemorative day is celebrated across the world allowing to get funds to support the medical research against sexually transmitted infection.
Program of this day:
About the fight against HIV, the research keeps on improving and new treatments appeared, and it's even about putting an end to the epidemic by 202. It's out of question yet to weaken efforts. The Mercury Phoenix Trust foundation created in 1991 by Queen members keeps collecting donations.
Hard Rock Cafe donates a percentage of the funds collected thanks to the purchase of fake moustaches and collector pin's depicting Freddie Mercury as well as Bellini cocktail, the singer's favorite drink. So, don't hesitate to get wild on goodies, it's for a good cause.
This September 5, let's bring our perfectos out again and do something good at Hard Rock Cafe. The show must go on!
