In Germany, this festival is a must. Both festive and convivial, it attracts large numbers of visitors every year, not only from Germany, but also from France, the Czech Republic and Great Britain.
After the success of the first edition ofOktoberfest Paris in 2015, bringing together 10,000 participants, selling 15,000 liters of beer and serving 1,000 ham hocks, the famous Bavarian beer festival takes place again from Friday, October 11 to Saturday, October 19, 2019 at the Paris Event Center in La Villette.
Once again, curious onlookers and novices alike will gather every evening, for 9 days, under a Bavarian marquee specially erected for the occasion at the Paris Event Center.
What's on the menu? Tasting of a wide range of traditional beverages, including the famous Meteor PILS, gold medallist in its category at the World beer awards 2017, but also Meteor IPA, Meteor HEFEWEIZEN, the alcohol-free beer, and Wendelinus Rossa.
As for the accompaniments, make way for traditional Alsatian dishes!
To transport you back to Germany,OktoberFest Paris also welcomes a real brass band on stage, with accordion, guitar, drums, trumpet and keyboard, playing everything from polka to rock and traditional German music.
Five cabaret dancers also take to the stage to perform an original choreography, specially designed for the occasion: the French cancan!
And when it comes to Oktoberfest, traditional dress is a must! Ladies, opt for the " Dirndl ", gentlemen for the " Lederhose ".
