Usually, when you feel like hanging out along the banks of the Seine in Paris, you head to the 13th arrondissement (Dame de Canton, Batofar…) or the 7th (Péniche Rosa Bonheur sur scène, Faust…) But for a few weeks now, those living or staying on the west side of Paris can hop over to La Javelle, the open-air summer hangout spot along the water by Port Javel Bas.
Not only can you chill out on deckchairs on the terrace while sipping on drinks, but La Javelle also offers a variety of fun organized activities, like tango classes, taï-chi demonstrations and flamenco concerts!
The space can also be used for outdoor games, revamping furniture, haircuts, and of course dancing under the lights once the sun goes down!
And of course we can’t forget one of the main events - the food! Food trucks like Camion qui fume, Giuliano Pizza and Bud’s deli all line up to serve a variety of foods and treats.
So you get the idea, La Javelle is a place that brings together people of all ages, celebrates culture and art and allows us to just enjoy summer moments.
Port Javel Bas, 75015 Paris
