As in every year, Yves Thuriès wishes to fulfill cocoa lovers’ taste buds.
For the Holidays 2017, the brand offers a pastry yule log with chocolate-praline.
This log is made of a light ganache with hazelnuts harvested in the Best Craftsman in France’s plantation based near Bordeaux, in Baleyssagues. We also discover a heart made of a Genoa bread. This thick but moist biscuit is based on almond paste.
Finally, the coating is made of 100% chocolate from Ecuador and from Yves Thuriès plantations.
The second creation is the “Pingouin du Pôle Nord” [Penguin from the North Pole].
This blending of dark and white chocolate is made by hand with chocolate from Ecuador.
The penguin stands on a dark chocolate plate covered in grated coconut.
