Le Cordon Bleu, the culinary arts and hotel management institute based in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, a stone's throw from the Javel train station, opens its café on the quays of the Seine. A café open to all, combining bakery, patisserie and hot and cold dishes for a treat at any time of day.

Le Cordon Bleu, the world's leading network of culinary arts and hotel management institutes, based in the 15th arrondissement, unveils a café open to all, where you can take a break at any time of day.

In fact, its wide and varied range of products makes it possible to enjoy breakfast, snacks and lunch.

A wide range of viennoiseries is available. From traditional croissants to vanilla turnovers and Bresse sugar tarts. The menu is constantly changing, and baker Gautier Denis (chef at Le Cordon Bleu) regularly offers new products delivered daily.

You'll find a range of artisan breads, as well as sandwiches prepared on site, such as the "Baguette Napolitaine" (fresh tomato, squash with basil oil and parmesan), the "Montagnard" (smoked magret sarrazin bread, potatoes, candied onions, Tomme de Savoie cheese, old-fashioned mustard) and, to name but a few, the "focaccia". Quiches and, for the figure-conscious, gourmet salads of quinoa, coral lentils and soft-boiled egg...

The café menu changes regularly. Every lunchtime except Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., we serve hot dishes made to order. Bibimbap, wok, vegan dish, 3 new hot dishes await you every week. Expect to pay between 10€ and 14€ for a hot dish. 10.50€ for a sandwich or salad with the tart of the day and a drink.

On the sweet side, macaroons, muffins and brownies are on the menu.

For fans of pastries, there's an array created by Anastasia Samugulovaa, a former student of the Plaza Athénée. Eskimos, lemon tart, chocolate dome and crunchy rocher are just some of the sweet treats on offer.

You can eat in or take away. A new terrace is due to open in the near future, so you can relax in the fresh air.

If you're a honey lover, 125g jars are available to buy to take away. Honey from Le Cordon Bleu's 3 beehives, please!

If you fancy a little gourmet break, head for Le Café le Cordon Bleu , a stone's throw from the quays of the Seine.

Please note that it's been over 4 years since our last visit, so the place and experience may have changed.
