Culinary art and hotel trade managing institute set in Parsi 15th arrondissement, a stone’s throw from the Javel station, Le Cordon Bleu opens its café by the Seine river. A café opened to all and mixing bakery, patisserie, as well as warm and cold dishes to enjoy good food at any time of the day.

World first network for culinary art institutes and hotel trade management, set in Paris 15th arrondissement, Le Cordon Bleu unveils a café opened to all where you can enjoy a break at any time of the day.

As a matter of fact, its large and varied range enables you to come for breakfast, for an afternoon snack or even for lunch.

On the menu then, many viennoiseries. From the traditional croissant to the vanilla turnover or the sugar tart, the menu keeps on changing and baker Gautier Denis (Le Cordon bleu chef) regularly offers novelties delivered on a daily basis.

We discover several craft breads, as well as sandwiches prepared on site such as the “baguette napolitaine” (fresh tomato, squash with basil oil and parmesan), the “Montagnard” (buckwheat bread, smoked duck breast, potato, candied onions, Tomme de Savoie cheese, old-fashioned mustard), to name a few, or even the “focaccia”. Quiches and for those paying attention to their silhouette, tasty salads based on quinoa, red lentils, soft-boiled egg…

The menu at the café changes regularly. For lunch – excluding Saturdays – from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., you can enjoy warm dishes prepared to order. Bibimbap, wok, vegan dish, 3 new warm dishes expect you weekly. Allow between €10 and €14 for the warm dish. €10.50 the sandwich or salad set menu. The salad is served with the pie of the day. Set menus also include a drink.

Moving on to the sweet offer, many good things such as macarons, muffins and other brownies are available.

Pastry fans will be able to find a nice range created by Anastasia Samugulovaa, a former student who worked for the Plaza Athénée. Eskimo pies, lemon pies, chocolate dome or even tasty and crunchy rocher are some of the delights you’ll find.

You can enjoy them on site, inside or to take away. A new terrace is said to open soon to enjoy a break al fresco§.
