This year, for Easter 2020, La Grande Epicerie de Paris has decided to create couples of chocolates: eggs will go by two like mischievous characters, while the Easter entremets 2020 will delight children and adults.
This year, La Grande Epicerie de Paris teams up with chocolate-maker chef Christophe Roussel to create two chocolate figurines that go by two like fraternal twins. With their big round eyes, with dots or stripes, they are based on Ghana 68% cocoa dark chocolate and Madagascan 33% cocoa milk chocolate.
Created by pastry chef Thibault Leroy, this creation with pure Brazil and Jamaica origin chocolates is based on cocoa shortbread, two whipped almond and milk chocolate ganaches and a heart made of hazelnut spread and soft hazelnut cake, topped by a milk chocolate nest housing two funny chocolate eggs.
Note that little gourmets from 4 to 5 years old, and bigger gourmets from 6 to 10 years old will be able to go on a gigantic egg hunt party on March 28, 2020 at La Grande Epicerie Rive Gauche and on April 1, 2020 at La Grande Epicerie Rive Droite.
And on Thursday April 2, 2020, a ‘chocolate party’ for adults will be thrown at Rive Gauche from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. On the menu, entertainments, tasting sessions, demonstrations and other surprises focusing on chocolate.
Happy Easter 2020!
