5 Pailles coffee shop is set in the Saint-Denis neighborhood and already has its regulars. Behind the project, 5 friends from Istanbul. After noticing the Coffee Shop phenomenon, especially in London, they wanted to create their own address in Paris, where this type of concept is slowly but surely spreading.
And it is on the Saint-Denis neighborhood they have their hearts set. This popular and hipster area seduced them and comforted them in the idea this would be the perfect place for their little haven of peace. It is in 79 rue du Faubourg Saint-Denis they have settled and started to delight local inhabitants.
In this place with a hybrid décor between post-industrial and natural, 5 Pailles welcomes you as if you were a friend. Warm and friendly, it is the place to be to meet over a drink with friends, a work place, or a place to chill and relax. You can expect to hear many languages as the place already attracts Anglo-Saxons visiting or living in Paris.
The big asset? Healthy and homemade food. Sandwiches and salads for omnivores and vegans, the whole cooked with fresh ingredients, anything more to ask for? Coffee, of course! After trying different roaster, 5 Pailles team has ultimately selected three: Lomi (France), Bonaza (Germany), and Cabra (Denmark).
To accompany your drink, 5 Pailles expects to make you fall in love with their desserts. They provide you with lighter cinnamon rolls. The Blueberry Financier is a favorite: bergamot-flavored cake, lemon cream and a couple of blueberries.
In the end, 5 Pailles has an excellent quality-price ratio in a cozy place that feels like home. What do you expect?
