This year, go for a very original chocolate creation for Easter 2020. To do so, head to Westin Paris-Vendôme to discover the Easter street lamp designed by the hotel pastry chef Florence Lesage supervised by chef David Réal.
You should know that the Westin Paris Vendôme is set a stone's throw from the Tuileries garden and the Palais Royal, so, Florence Lesage - as directed by chef David Réal - hasn't had to look far for her inspiration. She was inspired by the famous street lamp we see everywhere in Paris.
This 800-gram tasty creation - in addition to being beautiful - is a true technical exploit. Indeed hanging a chocolate egg of this weight triggers admiration.
This Easter egg is based on 40% Jivara chocolate entirely covered in edible gold leaf. It hangs on a 64% Manjari chocoloate structure worked to make it look like wrought iron.
Moreover, we also discover tasty little eggs to seduce all tastes: dark chocolate, milk chocolate praline ganache and white chocolate praline ganache are to be expected.
