Happy winner of the show "Le Meilleur Pâtissier: Les Professionnels" in 2018, Mori Yoshida delights the inhabitants of the 7th arrondissement of Paris and the surrounding area with his pastries that are as tasty as they are refined. In addition to the classics of French pastry, revisited with a Japanese twist, you can also find cakes, chocolates and pastries in his store.

Mori Yoshida: a name that resonates in the minds of many as one of the must-have chefs in Paris pastry. It was in 2018 that many sweet tooths discovered him. That year, Mori Yoshida won the title of"Best Pastry Chef" during the show " Le Meilleur Pâtissier: Les Professionnels " broadcast on M6.

A graduate of the Japanese school Nippon Kashi Senmon Gakko and winner of numerous competitions in his home country, pastry chef Mori Yoshida cut his teeth in France, working in particular in the laboratory of Philippe Conticini's Pâtisserie des Rêves. Since 2013, the Japanese chef has become a key figure in the world of pastry thanks to his boutique nestled on Avenue de Breteuil in the 7th arrondissement.

At Mori Yoshida's, don't expect to taste typical Japanese pastries. No, the chef has chosen to revisit only the classics of French pastry: chocolate pie, Paris-Brest, chocolate or coffee éclair, lemon pie or the inevitable flan... Thanks to his know-how, which combines French tradition and Japanese creativity, the chef also allows himself to make occasional deviations by integrating Japanese ingredients into his creations. Thus, the Paris-Brest is savored with black sesame while the chocolate pie is transformed into matcha pie. Don't forget his Japanese-style strawberry cake, rolled up and very light!

Beware, the pastries vary in the store, depending of course on the season. That day, we discover in the window two of Mori Yoshida 's must-haves: the magnificent and very tempting Mont-Blanc and the"Beige" cake. We really fall for the second one which is composed of a sweet chocolate pastry, a flaky praline, an orange ganache, and an Earl Grey tea and lime mousse for the acidulous side. A very nice and succulent creation, both light and original.

We also love the coconut vanilla ball, made with an almond joconde cookie and a memorable coconut mousse. An incredibly aerial dessert that gives the impression of eating a cloud! To finish, we opt for the famous cheesecake with a crunchy speculoos cookie base.

But that's not all. Mori Yoshida's patisserie also offers an assortment of chocolates, pastries and cakes, just to diversify the pleasures. In short, an address not to be missed in Paris for all pastry lovers!
