A chic afternoon break with delicious pastries in small size, how about that? Let’s go and discover the creations of Angelo Musa who has been Pastry World Champion and Meilleur Ouvrier de France, and Alexandre Dufeu, Hotel Plaza Athénée pastry chef.
Together, they came up with a very tasty afternoon snack for foodies including the best pastries of Angelo Musa’s career, a sort of guilty pleasure for the 48-year-old chef.
All in all, 12 sweet creations displayed on a tray, like for a teatime, including the Papilio, the entremets that enabled the chef to win the Pastry World Cup in 2003, as well as a marsala Paris-Brest, a vanilla Merveille, almond cookies as smooth as crispy, a strawberry tart, a lemon sphere, a coconut lollypop covered with a dark chocolate shell and a sushi-inspired fruit jelly.
Each pastry is very beautiful and allows us to discover the chef’s cuisine. We recommend the tray for two because the pastries taste quite sweet. Chocolate lovers will enjoy the Papilio, the strong chocolate entremets seasoned with sea salt, while the (forever) children will melt in front of the chocolate, condensed milk and coconut lollypop.
And let’s not forget about Angelo Musa’s signature pastry, three 100% mixing a cake, a cream and a mousse available in three flavors, and a drink of your choice to choose among the delicious teas, coffees (espresso, cappuccino, latte) or the chocolate with whipped cream.
