Looking for some Epiphany Cake that changes from the traditional cakes? Those provided by Maison Aleph will delight you.
All year long, Maison Aleph offers Parisians and tourists to discover pastries made with traditional Levantine ingredients such as jasmine, sumac and even rose from Damascus, thanks to pastry chef Myriam Sabet’s know how.
For Epiphany 2021, Myriam Sabet does not break the rule and came up with three Epiphany cakes you won’t be able to find anywhere else. Instead of the traditional flaky pastry used for French Epiphany Cakes, the chef went for phyllo pastry; and we can tell you that the different caramelized layers, cooked in clarified butter from Normandy, make us drool!
You can choose between three cakes, the brand-new chocolate-halva cake, the surprising almond-orange blossom cake and the excellent Iranian pistachio cake. It is so hard to choose with all these flavors!
The cakes will be available from December 26, 2020 as 5-6 servings, 8-10 servings or individual sizes at the Rue de la Verrerie store.
It is simple, with their oh-so original flavors, their deliciously cripsy puff pastry, we love Maison Aleph creations for Epiphany 2021! So, which one of these three Epiphany cakes will you get?
