L'Atelier Geneviève is the cool new spot in the 11th arrondissement. Both a café and a ceramics workshop, L'Atelier Geneviève offers you to personalize all kinds of ceramic objects but and to take them home afterwards! All this while drinking a good coffee.

Notice to DIY enthusiasts, L'Atelier Geneviève is a new kind of café that has just opened its doors in the 11th arrondissement, since it is a ceramics café. The first of its kind in the capital.

The concept? L'Atelier Geneviève is both a café in which you can come and drink an organic tea, an ethnic coffee, an artisanal beer or an organic wine while nibbling on sweet and salty organic cakes. But L'Atelier Geneviève is also a ceramics workshop to personalize on the spot!

In short, you go there without an appointment, you choose a raw ceramic object like a bowl, a plate, a vase, a teapot or a soap dish. You discover the different techniques of painting on ceramics, you choose your colors and paints, and then it's up to you!

You personalize your object by yourself, like a grown-up, and once finished, the Atelier Geneviève team enamels your object and fires it for 24 hours in the kiln at more than 1000°. The next day, you come back to get your handmade object and you show it to all your friends saying "I made it" or you offer it to a loved one (for Christmas, for example!).

Note that L'Atelier Geneviève also offers workshops, by appointment, for birthdays, seminars and bachelorette parties, as well as ceramic aperitifs (on Thursdays and Fridays) and ceramic brunches every Sunday.

The perfect place to relax while doing something with your ten fingers!

Our opinion on the ceramics café:

When you enter this cozy ceramics cafe, you embark on a relaxing 2-hour session to take your time and settle down around a creative activity, suitable for everyone. Whatever your level, the team shows you the different techniques, explains how to do it and remains available from the beginning to the end of the workshop.

As for hot drinks, you have the choice between "classic" coffees and chocolates or more original drinks, with a matcha latte, detox fruit juices... the choice is large and the products are sourced.

The workshop also offers ceramic aperitifs every Thursday to Friday and ceramic brunches "Brunch & Ceramic" every Sunday. Attention: once your ceramic is painted, you must wait a week to come and pick it up!
