La Maison du Mochi has opened its very first store in the heart of the 6th arrondissement. You can enjoy the famous Japanese balls for tea time.

Previously available only on the internet, La Maison du Mochi opened its very first store in the 6th arrondissement in 2019. The specialist of artisanal mochi then established itself in the rue du Cherche Midi, in the heart of the 6th arrondissement.

Parisians are spoiled, no more waiting for the delivery, you can now serve yourself on the spot and taste these famous little Japanese balls wrapped with sticky rice and a heart of Anko, a sweet Azuki paste. The little sweetness to be enjoyed with a tea or an infusion for a perfect snack break .

For the story, the House of Mochi was created in 2016 by Mathilda Motte following her trip to Japan where she was introduced to the making of mochi in the rules of the art. Declined according to the seasons, this little pastry is a hit since it is gluten-free, 100% vegetable and fat-free.
