Previously, Evok group hotel pastry chef and Meilleur Ouvrier de France Yann Brys delighted our Christmas by unveiling a series of four trees each representing one of the hotels. For Easter, the chef has been obviously wondering what came first: the egg or the hen?
He therefore created a genuine chocolate henhouse. This time, he reinterprets the chocolate hen and will once again pay tribute to the spirit of the 4 beautiful Parisian hotels of the group. Among them stands Brach Hôtel, a warm address designed by Philippe Starck. For this address, Brys unveils a hen at the level of the Brach's design and avant-garde spirit.
This sculpted hen displays elegant lines in black and red, like the one designed by the chef for Nolinski. Yet, Brach's chocolate creation present a cleaner line and is adorned with colorful mosaic. Each tile holds a different chocolate. Even though Brach Easter Egg is beautiful to look at, its composition makes it impossible to resist.
The shell is made of 63% Peruvian dark chocolate, as the red mosaic unveils raspberry jelly, the green one is made of pistachio praline, and the orange one is based on almond praline, super tasty!
This 21cm-tall egg is available for €47 for 350g of chocolates. It is available from March 28 to April 4, 2021 at the Pastry counters of the Brach and Cour des Vosges hotels. Careful, limited edition!
