The French capital is full of hidden places, safe from the hustle and bustle of the Parisian life. Among them, you might have heard about restaurant Anne. Nestled within Pavillon de la Reine 5*, a stone’s throw from the sumptuous Place des Vosges, this gourmet restaurant satisfies the taste buds of many patrons.
The restaurant has recently launched two teatime offers to discover from Monday to Saturday in the welcoming lounge or on the green and discreet terrace.
If you’re a gourmand, we couldn’t recommend enough the Tea Time de la Reine. For this hearty menu, chef Edouard Chouteau bet on a skilled mix of sweet and savory.
First, enjoy a very delicious avocado toast with smooth slices of smoked salmon, the whole sprinkled with sesame seeds and small pieces of goat’s cheese.
Then, have some flavorful pastries to choose, they are all made to order and ideally served warm. We fell for the tasty raspberry tartlet based on shortcake. Discover the crispy mint madeleine too or the waffle which recipe belongs to the chef’s family, with whipped cream, homemade jam or spread. To top it all, this teatime can be enjoyed with a glass of champagne.
For sweet-toothed foodies, go for the 100% sweet teatime menu including pastries to choose (mint madeleine, raspberry tartlet or waffle) and a hot drink.
So, what teatime will win your heart?
