Fancy a delicious tea time in a leafy setting away from the hustle and bustle of Paris? Head straight for the terrace of Restaurant Anne, a stone's throw from Place des Vosges.

The capital is full of hidden spots, preserved from the hustle and bustle of Parisian life. Do you know the restaurant Anne? Nestled within the 5* Pavillon de la Reine, a stone's throw from the sumptuous Place des Vosges, this gourmet restaurant delights the taste buds of its many customers.

The restaurant has recently launched two Tea Time formulas, to be enjoyed Monday to Saturday in its cosy lounge or on its verdant, discreet terrace.

For those with a sweet tooth, we recommend the Queen's Tea Time. For this generous formula, Chef Édouard Chouteau has opted for a skilful blend of sweet and savoury.

Start with a delicious avocado toast, delicately topped with melting slices of smoked salmon, sprinkled with sesame seeds and small pieces of goat's cheese.

The menu then moves on to a choice of tasty pastries, all made fresh, and therefore ideally warm. We've fallen for the delicious little raspberry tartelette with a Breton shortbread base. There's also a crunchy mint madeleine, and a waffle whose recipe belongs to the Chef's family, with whipped cream, homemade jam or spread. To top it all off, this tea time is accompanied by a glass of champagne.

For those with a sweet tooth, opt for the 100% sweet Tea Time formula, with a choice of pastries (mint madeleine, raspberry tartlet or waffle) and a hot drink.

So, which tea time will you choose?

Please note that it's been over 4 years since our last visit, so the place and experience may have changed.
