Douceurs capitales, the new vegetarian coffee shop in Square Gardette

Since this summer, Douceurs Capitales has been spreading its cute little terrace in front of Square Gardette, in the 11th arrondissement. This vegetarian coffee shop opened by Alice offers artisanal coffees from Coutume, French pastries and savory delights, all homemade, in a warm and cosy setting.

After spending a month in Australia, Alice, a young consultant with a passion for pastries, decided to take the plunge and open her own coffee shop in the 11th arrondissement. After training with Yann Couvreur and Coutume Café, Douceurs Capitales was born! On the menu, no banana bread, carrot cake or brownies, but typically French desserts that are as regressive as you could wish for: madeleines, quatre-quarts, fig and almond tarts .... All the products are fresh and in season, and the whole menu is home-made.

On the savory side, the menu proves once again that you can enjoy yourself while being vegetarian: sandwiches that change every week, savory pies, seasonal bowls... This week of September, it was jacket sweet potatoe with Greek yogurt, lemon zest and soft egg, a treat! We also particularly recommend Romain's cookies, with fleur de sel and hazelnuts, with an absolutely inimitable taste.

A cosy address, where it's as good to curl up inside as to sunbathe on the small terrace when the weather allows it. To be tested urgently!
