For the Epiphany 2021, Hôtel de Crillon pastry chef Matthieu Carlin provides us with a very tasty Epiphany Cake but that remains very traditional. Filling the very light and crunchy Viennese puff pastry, enjoy hearty, brown almond-flavored frangipane... A wonderful cake you will be delighted to share with your beloved ones. And a surprise may be hidding!
We must say that since he arrived at Hôtel de Crillon, chef Matthieu Carlin does everything to make us dream. For his first Christmas at the palace in 2019, he created a divine horse-drawn carriage yule log. On year later, he took us to an enchanted black forest inspired by Perrault's tales.
And the Epiphany is also like a fairytale. This Epiphany Cake is limited: only 100 cakes are available. In one of them, a golden ring, stamped with the crowned C of Hôtel de Crillon doubles as the bean. If you find it, 2021 will be a lucky year. This ring means you have won a night in this legendary Parisian palace.
This delicious cake serves 6 to 8 and is available from January 2, 2021 for €45 and can be ordered starting now.
