For the Epiphany 2020, Hôtel de Crillon pastry chef Matthieu Carlin has elevated the traditional French Epiphany Cake with two original produces: citron and Piedmont hazelnut.
This Epiphany Cake 2020 is based on light and smooth Viennese puff pastry, Piedmont hazelnut frangipane cream, candied citron zests and lemon marmalade. How original!
This creation 2020 is available at the Hotel de Crillon pastry store, Le Boudoir, from January 1 to 10, 2020 for €60 serving 6 to 8, or you can enjoy it at the winter garden for €12 the individual slice.
And that’s not all! To make the experience even more exceptional, the chef has hidden in one of the cakes, two beans, enabling the lucky winners to get special gifts!
The king or queen who had the chance to get the only golden bean will be treated to a night at Hôtel de Crillon. As for the one who got the only silver bean, he or she will get a custom-made experience at Sense, A Rosewood Spa including a Signature Sisley treatment.
