For pastry lovers, discover the creation specially imagined by La Grande Épicerie de Paris pastry chef Thibault Leroy and his teams: La Love Tarte. Behind this pretty name lies a mouth-watering love cake to share!
In detail, this tart is composed of a sweet pastry and a bed of exotic caramel on which pieces of fresh mango curl up, covered with a soft sponge cake and an exotic caramel ganache. The whole is topped with a mango compote with lime zest and a dulcey chocolate decoration by in-house chocolatier Mathieu Mooc.
Expect to pay €19.50 for a dessert for two!
Madeleine lovers will be delighted to learn that Comptoir de Madeleine is setting up a pop-up at the entrance to the Grande Épicerie de Paris, from February 2 to 14. You'll discover 5 gourmet flavors, to be tasted individually or offered as a gift in a box of 5 or 10 madeleines. For the occasion, Le Comptoir de Madeleine will be offering a new, exclusive rose recipe for La Grande Épicerie. The madeleines prepared each morning are served slightly warm, to take full advantage of their soft hearts and crispy edges.
